Mike is a metal artist, stonesetter, and jewelry educator who has worked in the field of fine jewelry for several firms as well as run his own company, The Designer’s Bench, creating custom jewelry for over 45 years working in gold, platinum, and silver. In addition, he has worked as a metal arts instructor with students from high school to adults teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced skills for over 30 years. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Lynn, for 51 years, and they have three children. They reside in Washington State where they are dawg parents to their Airedale, Dickens. When he is not chasing Dickens around the yard or going for long walks with him, Mike is an avid fly fisherman throughout the Pacific Northwest.
